Landslide after heavy rainfall in China: death toll exceed 100
More than 100 people died in the landslide that occurred after the strongest rain of the last 10 years in China.
Landslides caused by heavy rain Wednesday in Hubei province also cost 9 lives.
After the landslide in the Huangmei area in the morning, rescue work continues.
It is stated that the amount of rain falling to Hubei, Anhui, Zeycan and Zonging regions between 1 June and 7 July is the highest amount recorded since 1961 for all regions. According to Chinese meteorological officials, all these regions received three times the precipitation this year.
